Every country in the world has its own VIPs or Very Important Person or as what we commonly say, “Famous People”. It is a common knowledge and is widely accepted that though we are equal, each one of us is also unique and has special characteristics and personality.
There are also individuals who are citizens of a country who have special talents, deeper sense of purpose, and a deeper set of principles. Individuals gifted with imagination and rare talents and deep set ambition make them excel in their chosen fields; thus, making a mark in their country and becoming famous not only in their country but also throughout the whole world.
Australia has also produced some of these so called VIPs. Australia also has great achievers, brilliant inventors, actors, sports heroes, and talented artists as one of its citizens. Australia has also produced quite a notable number of Nobel Prize winners for its small population. These famous citizens have made a significant difference in the world because they have excelled in their field of expertise.

 Hugh Jackman is a very talented Australian film producer, and film, theatre and television actor, known mostly for his famous roles in several major Hollywood films including Van Helsing and X-Men. He was also named People Magazine's 2008 Sexiest Man Alive.
Sidney Nolan was one of Australia's most prolific experimental painters, making him one of the giants of 20th century Australian art. Nolan gained international recognition for the powerful imagery of his work for he was a visual myth maker. 
James Harrison was the inventor of the world's first practical refrigerator. He was a pioneer in all kinds of refrigeration.
Kylie Minogue is a great Australian musician and actress who is quite famous all over the world. In Australia and Europe, Kylie Minogue has been known for her unique style making her a style icon, as well as the biggest selling female artist.
